NORMAN BARR   (1908-1994)
Born in Czarist Russia in 1908 Norman Barr came to New York as a young boy and except for a few night classes at the school of the National Academy of Design, he was self-taught. He was on the mural project of the WPA and was a president of the Artists' Union (later The United American Artists).
