FACES   (Spring, 2023)
At the Philadelphia Show, April 28 to 30, 2023, the Treasure Hunt this year is Face It! That, following on the success of Tronies* curated by Susan Tallman at the October, 2022, New York IFPDA Print Fair, has motivated us to compile a list of related works.
*Tronie is the seventeenth-century Dutch painting theme of faces, usually drawn from actual people but with the intention of presenting specific characters such as angelic children or handsome soldiers.
