JOHN WORTHINGTON GREGORY   (1903-1992)
Native New Yorker John W. Gregory, was a painter, printmaker, photographer, and teacher. He studied at Art Students League with John Sloan and worked in Provincetown, on Cape Cod, where he maintained his own press. During the Depression he was on the Massachusetts Art Project under the New Deal. Work by Gregory is in the Smithsonian American Art Museum; he died in Hiannis on Cape Cod.
