GWYNETH LEECH   (Born 1959)
GWYNETH LEECH: Construction Sites was on view at The Gallery, Clinton / Hell's Kitchen, New York City, the spring of 2019.
All the works shown here are from the Construction Series, 2016-18. Many of these were shown February 15 through March 31, 2018, at the Kaufman Archade, NYC. Two major themes are explored: A new building on West 39th Street directly outside LeechÕs 13th floor studio window and the Hudson Yards construction views mostly made from the northern end of the Highline.

She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Postgraduate Diploma from Edinburgh College of Art. In 2011-12 her project, The Cup Drawings, was shown at the Flatiron Prow Artspace, NYC. Work by Leech was featured in Families/Cities SHIFT at the Susan Teller Gallery, April 5 through May 11, 2013.
