AMERICAN PAINTINGS   ()
Riva Helfond's monumental painting, Curtain Factory, 1937, is in the Women March Exhibition at the New-York Historical Society. Fortunately it was on view for a few weeks before the museum was closed due to the pandemic. Here it is followed by three abstract, small-format images by Howard Daum, Hugh Mesibov, and Fannie Hillsmith, and works by Louise Leech, Angelo Pinto, Anne Ryan, and Judith Shahn. There are also figurative paintings by Dorothy Browdy Kushner, Bernard Rosenquit, and Mesibov.
Works are in very good condition; exceptions are noted. Prices are subject to change and do not include frames, sales tax, or shipping.
