DORIS ROSENTHAL   (1895-1971)
Born on a ranch in California, around 1917-18 Rosenthal came to New York City to study at the Art Students League with John Sloan and George Bellows. She received a Guggenheim Grant in 1931 to work in Mexico. She worked in NY for many years and also Oaxoca where she died.
Her work was featured at the Muckenthaler Cutlral Center, Fullerton, CA, Feburary 5 through April 4, 2015.
