HARRY STERNBERG   (1904-2001)
Born in 1904 on New YorkÕs Lower East Side, Harry Sternberg grew up in Brooklyn. He attended the Art Students League and in 1934 became an instructor: Isabel Bishop, Minna Citron, Blanche Grambs, Riva Helfond, Charles Keller, Knox Martin, Karl Schrag, and Charles White, are among his students.
