SUSAN TELLER GALLERY
ARTISTS EXHIBITIONS TELLERBLOG ABOUT US NEWS

WINTER, 2022
On the heels of the Two Generations of Women Printmakers at the Art Students League this past November, and inspired by Georgia O'Keeffe and American Modernism, currently at the McNay Museum of Art, San Antonio, and Labyrinth of Forms: Women and Abstraction, 1930-1950, at the Whitney Museum of American Art through March 13, we compiled a list of works by American Modernist Women. Prints by Anne Ryan and three artists from the American Abstract Artists Portfolio, Alice Earl Lyall, Ray Kaiser, and Maria Kennedy, are the same subjects as those in the Whitney show. Several others, by Minna Citron, Worden Day, and Fannie HIllsmith, are exact pieces from the League's exhibition.
